To The Max has a 30 year history led by this charismatic front man. His invitation for me to join the legendary local rock band was nothing less than a God send. Weekend after weekend I made loud, fun classic rock with this rough and tumble group of musicians. I enjoyed my rekindled friendship with my old friend Jody Herman who I hadn't seen in a very long time. He is a rock solid drummer and a good friend. My new friend and Guitar player,Pat Williams has become like a brother to me. I became his best man when he married Tara, who we formed the band Phat Cat....but thats another story. Bruce Collard,Sax, join in my absence. Pete Bennett on Bass. Pete plays with a ton of energy and a lot of heart, a seasoned pro.  T Bone Stone on keys. The Journeyman. Don't know when he really came on board but he has been around for a long time. He sort of just showed up one day and never left. There isn't a musician or band that Tbone hasn't played with. A solid player. To The Max has survived the test of time. There have been personal changes over the years but most everyone who has been a member has contributed a lot and has always remained a member at heart.
We concentrate on classic rock, mostly from the 60's and 70's. Credence, Stepenwolf, Stones and Allmans Bros. We also play danceable funk whipped up and spit out TTMAX style. This has always remained, and still is a popular band in the area. My time with the To the Max band have been some of the best times in my life.
